III ANIVERSARIO DE ORDENACIÓN SACERDOTAL

“GRACIAS SEÑOR, POR FIJARTE EN MÍ CON AMOR”.

“Porque tú, Señor, haces grandes cosas en la pequeñez de tus hijos, por eso es que hoy te agradezco el regalo del sacerdocio en mí persona, gracias por permitirme servir junto a Ti, por estos tres años y los que faltan. Gracias también a todas y a cada una de las personas que hoy se unen en oración y a las que están aquí, festejando conmigo… porque eso quiere decir que ya son parte de mi familia, una familia que espero siga creciendo en frutos y en amistad. Pidan a Dios por mí y por todos los sacerdotes para que Dios nuestro Señor nos tenga siempre de su mano y siga derramando en cada uno de nosotros la gracia de su espíritu”.

Me llegó una palabra de Yavé :

«Antes de formarte en el seno de tu madre, ya te conocía; antes de que tú nacieras, yo te consagré, y te destiné a ser profeta de las naciones.»

Yo exclamé: «Ay, Señor, Yavé, ¡cómo podría hablar yo, que soy un muchacho!» Y Yavé me contestó: «No me digas que eres un muchacho. Irás adondequiera que te envíe, y proclamarás todo lo que yo te mande. No les tengas miedo, porque estaré contigo para protegerte -palabra de Yavé.»
Entonces Yavé extendió su mano y me tocó la boca, diciéndome: «En este momento pongo mis palabras en tu boca.

En este día te encargo los pueblos y las naciones: Arrancarás y derribarás, perderás y destruirás, edificarás y plantarás.» (Jeremias 1, 1-10)

Jn 6, 1-15
En aquel tiempo, Jesús se fue a la otra orilla del mar de Galilea o lago de Tiberíades. Lo seguía mucha gente, porque habían visto los signos que hacía curando a los enfermos. Jesús subió al monte y se sentó allí con sus discípulos.

Estaba cerca la Pascua, festividad de los judíos. Viendo Jesús que mucha gente lo seguía, le dijo a Felipe: “¿Cómo compraremos pan para que coman éstos?” Le hizo esta pregunta para ponerlo a prueba, pues él bien sabía lo que iba a hacer. Felipe le respondió: “Ni doscientos denarios de pan bastarían para que a cada uno le tocara un pedazo de pan”. Otro de sus discípulos, Andrés, el hermano de Simón Pedro, le dijo: “Aquí hay un muchacho que trae cinco panes de cebada y dos pescados. Pero, ¿qué es eso para tanta gente?” Jesús le respondió: “Díganle a la gente que se siente”. En aquel lugar había mucha hierba. Todos, pues, se sentaron ahí; y tan sólo los hombres eran unos cinco mil.

Enseguida tomó Jesús los panes, y después de dar gracias a Dios, se los fue repartiendo a los que se habían sentado a comer. Igualmente les fue dando de los pescados todo lo que quisieron. Después de que todos se saciaron, dijo a sus discípulos: “Recojan los pedazos sobrantes, para que no se desperdicien”. Los recogieron y con los pedazos que sobraron de los cinco panes llenaron doce canastos.

Entonces la gente, al ver el signo que Jesús había hecho, decía: “Éste es, en verdad, el profeta que habría de venir al mundo”. Pero Jesús, sabiendo que iban a llevárselo para proclamarlo rey, se retiró de nuevo a la montaña, él solo.

Jn 6:1-15
Jesus went across the Sea of Galilee.
A large crowd followed him,
because they saw the signs he was performing on the sick.
Jesus went up on the mountain,
and there he sat down with his disciples.
The Jewish feast of Passover was near.
When Jesus raised his eyes
and saw that a large crowd was coming to him,
he said to Philip,
“Where can we buy enough food for them to eat?”
He said this to test him,
because he himself knew what he was going to do.
Philip answered him,
“Two hundred days’ wages worth of food would not be enough
for each of them to have a little.”
One of his disciples,
Andrew, the brother of Simon Peter, said to him,
“There is a boy here who has five barley loaves and two fish;
but what good are these for so many?”
Jesus said, “Have the people recline.”
Now there was a great deal of grass in that place.
So the men reclined, about five thousand in number.
Then Jesus took the loaves, gave thanks,
and distributed them to those who were reclining,
and also as much of the fish as they wanted.
When they had had their fill, he said to his disciples,
“Gather the fragments left over,
so that nothing will be wasted.”
So they collected them,
and filled twelve wicker baskets with fragments
from the five barley loaves
that had been more than they could eat.
When the people saw the sign he had done, they said,
“This is truly the Prophet, the one who is to come into the world.”
Since Jesus knew that they were going to come and carry him off
to make him king,
he withdrew again to the mountain alone.

Mt 13:24-30
Jesus proposed a parable to the crowds.
“The Kingdom of heaven may be likened to a man
who sowed good seed in his field.
While everyone was asleep his enemy came
and sowed weeds all through the wheat, and then went off.
When the crop grew and bore fruit, the weeds appeared as well.
The slaves of the householder came to him and said,
‘Master, did you not sow good seed in your field?
Where have the weeds come from?’
He answered, ‘An enemy has done this.’
His slaves said to him, ‘Do you want us to go and pull them up?’
He replied, ‘No, if you pull up the weeds
you might uproot the wheat along with them.
Let them grow together until harvest;
then at harvest time I will say to the harvesters,
“First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles for burning;
but gather the wheat into my barn.”’”

Mt 13, 24-30
En aquel tiempo, Jesús propuso esta otra parábola a la muchedumbre: “El Reino de los cielos se parece a un hombre que sembró buena semilla en su campo; pero mientras los trabajadores dormían, llegó un enemigo del dueño, sembró cizaña entre el trigo y se marchó. Cuando crecieron las plantas y se empezaba a formar la espiga, apareció también la cizaña.

Entonces los trabajadores fueron a decirle al amo: ‘Señor, ¿qué no sembraste buena semilla en tu campo? ¿De dónde, pues, salió esta cizaña?’ El amo les respondió: ‘De seguro lo hizo un enemigo mío’. Ellos le dijeron: ‘¿Quieres que vayamos a arrancarla?’ Pero él les contestó: ‘No. No sea que al arrancar la cizaña, arranquen también el trigo. Dejen que crezcan juntos hasta el tiempo de la cosecha y, cuando llegue la cosecha, diré a los segadores: Arranquen primero la cizaña y átenla en gavillas para quemarla; y luego almacenen el trigo en mi granero’ ”.
