Yesterday we held the drawing for the Raffle of Craftsman 2-in-1 Tools purchased at Ace Hardware - Melissa by our Member, VP, and Ace Employee, Phillip Lytle (pictured with his wife/Member Jody phoning the Raffle Winner). On hand for the drawing was Ace Hardware Manager, Terah Plaisance.

The winning ticket was drawn by Taylor, the daughter of our Member Stephanie Norris Moore...and the winner is (pictured below receiving the prize)...
..Manju Janivara! Congratulations 🙌🏼

Thank you to all those who bought raffle tickets. The purpose of our Association is to do whatever we can to help our best-anywhere City of Melissa Police Department. Coincidentally (or not) this drawing took place during Police Appreciation Week.

We want to extend our deepest gratitude to H-E-B for providing lunch, Smoothie King for providing breakfast and .121 for providing delicious coffee!

Our 2nd Citizens Police Academy graduates!

Last Thursday, we celebrated the graduation of Class 2 from our Citizens Police Academy! 🎉

This group showed up every week engaged and ready to learn. From Patrol Tactics and Drone Operations to Crime Scene Investigations and Commercial Vehicle Enforcement, their enthusiasm and participation never wavered.

We are incredibly proud of this group and grateful for their commitment to learning more about what we do. We look forward to many more classes in the future!

We had a fantastic day at the Heart of Melissa festival today!
We would like to extend our gratitude to everyone who visited us, purchased raffle tickets, and bought our new T-shirts. It was a success!

One year ago! Melissa’s 1st graduating class for the citizens police academy!

🚓 Our First Citizen Police Academy Is in the Books! 🎉

Congratulations to the graduates of Melissa’s first-ever Citizen Police Academy! Over the past 9 weeks, participants got a behind-the-scenes look at what it’s like to serve as a Melissa Police Officer and learned more about the inner workings of the department.

We’re incredibly proud of everyone who dedicated their time to be part of this amazing initiative—and we can’t wait for the next class!
