Camp GAIA (Girls' Adolescence, Independence, and Achievement) Organized by the Women's Center in Brevard. Available to girls from 5th-8th grade. Campers will meet Willing to learn new things and meet new people

CAMP ACTIVITIES

Campers will meet and interact daily with accomplished female role models living and working within the community, while engaging in activities planned to explore and encourage:

Developing Skills to Be a Happy, Healthy Person

The Importance of Responsibility

Self Awareness – Getting Along with Others and Learning about Yourself

Living a Life of Gratitude

LEARN

The Camp GAIA curriculum will encourage:

Good Nutrition and Exercise

Habits of a Successful Teenager

Setting Good Personal Boundaries

Realizing Desires and Becoming Self-Aware

The Value of Giving Back to the Community

Camp GAIA counselors are qualified, multi generational women volunteering for this project and committed to a strong and healthy community. HOW TO ENROLL

To register your camper for CAMP GAIA she must be:

1. Entering the 5th through 8th grade for the

2012-2013 academic school year

2. Ready to have a GREAT time with girls her age!

This year's camp GAIA will take place from June 3-7 (for rising 5 and 6th graders) and from June 10-14 (for rising 7 and 8th graders)! We are working on putting the application form on the women's center website. In meantime you can pick up an application at the women's center or contact the page for more information.
