Within the last month or so I've been planning a thru hike on the Colorado Trail. 485 miles of me and a trail, that goes from Littleton, CO to Durango, CO. I've been dreaming of doing a thru hike since I was about 15 years old. My step-brother and I went for a visit to his aunt and uncle's house in Enumclaw, WA. His uncle took us with him for a couple hour hunt for bears. While we were in the hills we came across a trail. He told us that it was the Pacific Creast trail, and explained to us what it was about. We planned on hiking this trail once we graduated high school, but it never happened. So I've been facinated with thru hikes ever since then. Now I'm preparing for hopfully my first of many thru hikes.

This is my attempt to make my own backpacking blog. I will do my best to update this as much as possible. I have been into backpacking and camping for as long as I can remember. I first started to get into actual backpacking as an actual hobby at about age 25. Growing up in Northern California gave me much opportunity for this. Being only a good 4 hour drive from Yosemite in which became my stompping grounds. I fell in love with the park from the moment I drove through the tunnel at inspiration point. Seeing the valley for the first time was unbelievable that its too hard to write the feelings down. Anyways Iam going to share as much info on gear, trails, parks, food, and stories from others that I can.
