The Davidson College Symphony Orchestra, directed by Tara Villa Keith, and the Davidson College Jazz Ensemble, directed by William Lawing, will perform at the Gleason Performing Arts Center at Florida Tech University on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at 7:30pm as a part of their annual tour.This concert is FREE!!!!
The Symphony Orchestra will perform music from their fall semester, including excerpts from Borodin’s Polovtsian Dances, Suppé’s Light Cavalry Overture, and more! The Jazz Ensemble will perform a variety of jazz styles, from the classic big band charts to contemporary compositions.
