Space Coast Climate Change Initiative

Space Coast Climate Change Initiative Planning for the future today Our education and outreach campaign is sustained by volunteers. Parkinson.

The SCCCI consists of a loosely organized group of local stakeholders whom are committed to a broad range of civic and environmental actions designed to encourage local governments and other decision makers to implement adaptive management plans to ensure resiliency of natural and built environments vulnerable to climate change and sea-level rise. The East-Central Florida Climate Change Task Force

(TF) was established to provide expert advice and guidance to the SCCCI as may be required. The TF is populated with community leaders with a common interest in ensuring the SCCCI mission is effectively pursued. The day to day operations of the SCCCI are managed by the administrator, Dr. Randall W. Funding is provided through the generous donations of our sponsors and via the successful pursuit of contracts and grants.
