Earlier this week we shared about the Sales Surtax.

The second measure on November's ballot is the ๐Œ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐š๐ ๐ž โ€” a property tax renewal that funds the teachers, programs, and technology that make learning happen every day in Brevard County classrooms.

Millage is the small portion of property taxes that stays right here in Brevard County, locally approved by voters to directly support Brevard Public Schools. Every dollar collected goes to the people and programs inside our schools.

Millage funds three things: ๐ž๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐จ๐ฒ๐ž๐ž ๐ฉ๐š๐ฒ, ๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ข๐š๐ฅ ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐ ๐ซ๐š๐ฆ๐ฌ, ๐š๐ง๐ ๐œ๐ฅ๐š๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ซ๐จ๐จ๐ฆ ๐ญ๐ž๐œ๐ก๐ง๐จ๐ฅ๐จ๐ ๐ฒ.

This November, two local funding measures are on the ballot. Neither are new. Both are already
in place.
The first is the Sales Surtax โ€” a sales tax renewal that funds safe, maintained, and modern
school facilities.
The Surtax is the small portion of sales tax that stays right here in Brevard to keep school
buildings safe, in good repair, and up to date. It funds three things: secure buildings, facility
investments, and technology infrastructure.
Over the next several weeks, we'll share more about what the Surtax funds.

What a GREAT first PTO meeting of the year! ๐ŸŽ‰

We had an amazing turnout and loved seeing so many of our Sabal families come together to kick off another great year!

๐ŸŒฑ A HUGE shoutout and thank you to Let's Plant It in downtown Melbourne ๏ฟผfor generously donating the beautiful plants for our Plant Bingo winners! We truly appreciate your support of our school and PTO!

๐Ÿ‘ A very special THANK YOU to our amazing PTO Board members for all of the time, planning, and effort that went into putting together such a fun and successful first meeting! We appreciate everything you do to make these events possible for our Sabal families!
