APPLE Accreditation, Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Michelle Foley as an APPLE Accreditation Commissioner.

Michelle brings more than 35 years of leadership experience in early childhood education and nonprofit management, with expertise spanning operations, strategic planning, accreditation, regulatory compliance, program development, team leadership, and organizational growth.

As Vice President of Early Education for the YMCA of Central Florida, Michelle provides executive leadership and strategic oversight for Early Learning programs and leads major initiatives focused on quality, compliance, and growth. She also brings firsthand experience with the APPLE Accreditation process and a deep understanding of the important role accreditation and continuous improvement play in strengthening early learning programs.

“Michelle brings an exceptional combination of operational leadership, accreditation knowledge, and a lifelong commitment to early childhood education,” said John Stover, Chair of the APPLE Commission. “Her perspective, experience, and commitment to continuous improvement will be tremendous assets to the APPLE Commission.”

FACCM is proud to have Dr. Glen Mort, President & CEO, representing our members and Florida’s early learning community at the Bainum Family Foundation’s Child Care Regulatory Coherence Convening in Washington, D.C.

Pictured here with Ma**ca Cox Mitchell, Chief Program Officer with the Bainum Family Foundation, Dr. Mort is joining early childhood leaders from across the country for two days of conversation and collaboration focused on strengthening the future of child care regulatory systems.
