From our regular lunches, Bingo, music and Pantry Nights to community events, our final Farmers Market, Oktoberfest, Fab Farm Finds and some BIG kitchen renovations coming in October 👏 — you’ll definitely want to save this one!
We’re heading into a busy fall season and, as always, we’re incredibly thankful for the people who continue to show up, participate, volunteer, donate and simply support what we’re doing here.

Trena is opening up the Melba Valley Thrift Store on Wednesdays now! 🙌

And y’all… we are overflowing with donations — in the BEST way. 😂 There are so many goodies packed in here that we can barely see all the treasures anymore!

💧 FREE WELL WATER TESTING IN MELBA! 💧

Have a private well? Here’s an easy opportunity to have your water tested for FREE and get some peace of mind about the water your family is using every day.

The City of Melba and IRWA will be at the Melba Valley Senior Center collecting and testing well water samples:

📅 Thursday, September 10, 2026
⏰ 8:30 AM – 2:00 PM
📍 Melba Valley Senior Center
115 Base Line Rd., Melba

What to bring:
💧 A glass of fresh, cold water straight from your well.

If you use a filtration system, you’re also welcome to bring two samples—one raw sample and one after filtration—so you can compare the results.

✨ Results are instantaneous! You’ll also have an opportunity to ask questions about your water quality while you’re there.

There is no cost for testing, so please take advantage of this great resource and share this post with your neighbors, friends and family who use well water!

❤️ OUR NEIGHBORS NEED US. ❤️

Right now, brave firefighters from across our region are working around the clock battling the devastating wildfires near Jordan Valley and surrounding areas. They're spending long days and sleepless nights on the fire lines, protecting homes, ranches, wildlife, and our communities.

As a small town, we may not be on the front lines—but we can stand behind those who are.

The Melba Chamber of Commerce is organizing a donation drive TOMORROW, Tuesday, July 28, at the Melba Valley Senior Center.
If you're able, please consider dropping off: 💧 Bottled water 🥜 Individually packaged snacks 🥫 Non-perishable food 🍬 Electrolyte drinks or drink mixes 🍎 Grab-and-go items that can easily be packed and eaten on the fire line 💰 Financial donations as well.

Every bottle of water, every snack, and every donation is a reminder to these firefighters that their hard work and sacrifice are seen and appreciated.

🇺🇸 We have a winner! 🇺🇸

Congratulations to Andy Newby, the winner of our handcrafted American Flag raffle! We hope this beautiful piece finds the perfect place in your home, and we know it will be enjoyed for years to come.

Because of this incredible community, we also raised $_____ for the Melba Valley Senior Center! ❤️

While one person took home the flag, our entire community is a winner.

A heartfelt thank you to Jason with Safety 3rd Woodworking for once again donating his time, talent, and craftsmanship to create this one-of-a-kind flag. Your generosity continues to make a real difference, and we are so grateful.

Thank you to Danelion Brewery for proudly displaying the flag throughout the fundraiser and helping us share it with so many people. Your support helped make this fundraiser a success.

And finally, thank you to every single person who bought a ticket, shared a post, stopped by to see the flag, or simply helped spread the word. Every ticket purchased helps support the Melba Valley Senior Center and the programs, meals, and services that mean so much to our community.

This fundraiser is another reminder of what makes Melba so special. When there's a need, people show up. Businesses step up. Neighbors support neighbors. That's something to be proud of.
