Once I got past being so shocked I opened the case and the viola is so beautiful and the sound is even different than the rented ones. Everyone who has seen it has admired the sound and the look. I will be honored to play this instrument and I will take the very

best care of the viola and it will be returned to you so that you can pass it on to another child that is need of an instrument for orchestra. When my days of orchestra are done after high school and college whenever those days are done I will be more than happy to return it to you. You have my word. Thank you, thank you so much.”

We truly have some of the best donors an organization could ask for. Time and time again, our St. Louis community shows up with playable instruments that we can place directly into the hands of students eager to learn.

Last week a local school reached out hoping to find a drum kit and a few guitars for their students.
Today those instruments have a new home, and students have the opportunity to pick up a guitar, sit behind a drum kit, and discover their love for music. This is the power of community.
