Just something to think about when organizing your home.

Motherhood can make you feel like you are constantly falling behind some impossible version of what a “good mom” is supposed to look like, especially when social media makes it seem like everyone else has more patience, more energy, healthier meals, cleaner homes, and happier days than you do. But when I really stop and look at my children, I realize they are not searching for perfection from me. They are searching for comfort, love, safety, laughter, attention, and the feeling of being deeply wanted exactly as they are. My children do not care if I have everything figured out all the time, they just want me present with them in the little moments that make up their childhood. I think sometimes the healthiest thing a mother can do for her family is simply allow herself to breathe and be human too. 🤍

🚨 Let’s Talk About Donations 🚨

Items donated for those in need are meant to help our neighbors—not to be turned around and sold for profit.

When people take donated goods and resell them, it takes resources away from families who truly rely on these programs. A winter coat, baby clothes, even toys or basic household items can make a real difference for someone going through a tough time.

💙 If you don’t need it, please leave it for someone who does.
💙 If you do need help, don’t hesitate to use these resources—they’re here for you.
💙 Let’s keep our community strong by looking out for one another.

Kindness works best when it reaches the people it’s intended for. Let’s do our part to make sure it does.

💙 Those abusing this program will be banned from the store.

Thank you to our friends who have donated some very nice, gently used games and toys the past two weeks. Because of you, children will be able to enjoy them again. Please remember to package games and puzzles so all pieces stay together. Please, please, please do not send us the bottom of your toy box (broken toys, game pieces, loose puzzle pieces, cars without wheels, dirt, etc). We don't have time to sort through them and it makes it difficult for shoppers. See you Tuesday!
