The Link Day Program is a social, recreational, and educational day program provided by The Society to adult individuals with intellectual & developmental disabilities. acilitate community integration. Focus is placed on employment development as well as leisure interest allowing the individuals to be broadly prepared for living a quality life in their chosen community.
- Follows a curriculum-based model offering courses in art, music, computers, cooking, physical fitness, community awareness, vocational skills and more.
-Courses focus on individuals’ interests with an emphasis on personal growth, employment skills and community involvement.
- Courses instructed by highly-trained staff, along with professionals in the areas of music and aquatics for programs like music enrichment taught by a licensed music therapist. Individuals also volunteer at their local Aktion Club, a Kiwanis program for adults with disabilities, and on the Square in Medina in collaboration with Main Street Medina.
