LENTEN FISH FRY CREW. With Easter now in our rear view mirror, it is important for the Medina, NY Knights of Columbus to recognize and thank our dedicated group of volunteers.
A Fish Fry isn't just a Friday night event. For us it starts on Wednesday with the set up of the banquet hall and supply deliveries. Thursday is prep night, followed by 3 hours of organized chaos on Friday. Not to mention the Saturday morning clean up detail.
Shown in the picture is our 2026 team of volunteers. Front (L to R) Martha Snyder, Melissa Cotter, Virginia Klotzbach, Karen Carlton, Jeanne Crane, Darlene Rich, and Skip Draper. Middle (L to R) Howie & Joy Gardner, Pam Cook, Denny DuBai, Tam Menz, Sharlene Pratt, Robie DuBai, Jim Mirand, and Bob Fox. Back (L to R) David Cook, Kristian Snyder, David Cotter, Mike Fischer, Alan Worgo, and Steve Winans.
Not shown are Kate Hardner, Linda Mirand, Nancy Blount, Carol Polick, and Scott & Sally Grimm. We also appreciate our bartenders, Sam Stear and Jenn Szalay who always do a great job for us. Thanks to our entire crew. We already have ideas on ways to improve next year!
Most of all we are thankful to our Medina Community for the support to help us achieve a record year. A special thanks goes to Marguerite Sherman for bringing cookies for the crew to enjoy each week.
Once again we were able to donate to The Medina Emergency Food Pantry and The Knights Kaderli Memorial Foundation, two causes dear to our organization. Thank you for your support that allows us to do this. Have a safe and enjoyable spring. God Bless.
