September is Childhood Cancer Awareness month so we wanted to do something special for kids fighting cancer. Today the Keira Kilbane Foundation had the privilege of making one of our biggest donations to the Pediatric Cancer Inpatient Unit at University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s. This launches our campaign to do monthly toy donations through the end of the year.
We heard a special boy liked John Cena so we brought something along to hopefully brighten his day. đź’•
We fully stocked the pantry with food, snacks, and drinks the kids and their families enjoy. We brought a variety of Legos, seasonal arts/crafts, diamond art kits, painting, coloring, crochet kits, games, slime, squishy balls, toys, and Door Dash and Starbucks gift cards (valued at $3,500).
Your funds at work! This wouldn’t be possible without all our donors and volunteers. Special thanks to Grady (Keira’s not so little brother) for putting the KKF stickers on all of the items. It was quite the task!
