The Medina Community Band will present the second concert of its annual Summer Concert Series on
Uptown Medina Square on Friday, June 12, 2026, at 8:00 p.m.
The concert is FREE and open to the public, with ample parking available.
The Medina County Historical Society will serve as this week’s social host, offering pie and ice cream for a donation.
The evening’s program will include Clare Grundman’s Blue and Gray Rhapsody and John C. Bratton’s Teddy Bear’s Picnic. Featured marches will be Karl King’s Host of Freedom and John Philip Sousa’s Semper Fidelis and The Stars and Stripes Forever.
Mark Phillipp retired from the Marine Corps in 2021 and is currently a Veterans Service Officer at the Medina County Veterans Service Office, will be guest speaker presenting Harold Walters’ Duty, Honor, Country.
In honor of Flag Day, the band will perform Louis Saverino’s March of the Women Marines, Jari Villanueva’s Salute to the Armed Forces and Irving Berlin’s God Bless America.
In case of bad weather, the rain site will be the community room of the Western Reserve Masonic
Community - 4931 Nettleton Rd, Medina, OH 44256.
Weather cancellations will be posted on Medina Community Band website, Facebook and an email will be sent to those who receive email newsletters from the band.
