Poker Run Announcement: Purple Heart Homes of NE Ohio is hosting their 1st Annual Poker Run, Saturday, September 26 at AMVETS Post 32. Registration is at 9:30 am to 11:00 am and kickstands up at 11:30 am. Rolling Thunder Inc. Ohio Chapter 8 will be attending, come join us for a day of riding for a good cause. We'll see you there!

Great opportunity for Veterans who love skiing and snowboarding. Vail Resorts offers a heavily discounted season pass for retired veterans and veterans rated at 30% or more for their disability rating. This pass runs $215 and includes access to 42 resorts across the U.S., Canada, Switzerland and Australia, with 4 of the ski resorts being located in Ohio. In addition, this includes discounts on lodging, food, special experiences and has the perks of each pass having 10 guest passes for 1/2 off the normal lift ticket price. This pass is on sale until tomorrow, 04/12. Rolling Thunder Inc. Ohio Chapter 8 is only announcing this to make veterans aware of additional recreational opportunities afforded to them for their service. Rolling Thunder Inc. With Heavy Hearts, Rolling Thunder Inc. Ohio Chapter 8 has lost one of our own, Robert 'Bob' Jozwiak. Bob was the lifeblood of Rolling Thunder Inc, regularly being the mouthpiece for those who didn't have a voice. Standing up for all of us Veterans, Bob was humble, always promoting the POW MIA Mission and having respect for all Veterans. From attending meetings as our liaison, to helping outreach with our communities, Bob was an incredible light in our organization, guiding with compassion and humor. He always had a smile, and always fought for what was right. Bob, we Love you, and miss you greatly! May you have peace in the heavenly kingdom; we'll carry the torch brother.
