Only two weeks out! NEOLS annual Halloween Run, Friday, October 17th and Saturday, October 18th.

Friday runs 6:30 to 8:30, or when the parking lot is full. Gates will close promptly at 8:30. Saturday runs 4:30 to 8:30, or when the parking lot is full.

No cost, donations accepted. Costumes are fine, but please avoid long flowing outfits or masks that obstruct vision.

So ... our next Public Run is a month away, Saturday September 20th, 12:30 to 4:30 at the Lester Rail Trail Park. Come out and ride with us. With fall comes school and fall sports. A local high school Cross Country team was using CVSR's Explorer program to reposition the kids for a training run. One of our Rail Campers in that group asked if the NEOLS Camp Director (who is also a CVSR engineer) "Is John in this train?" Coincidence, he's running it today. Cab visit while stopped in Peninsula. This young man wants to be a railroad mechanic when he grows up....Fun day!
