Thank you to history teacher Sarah Reisinger for her presentation on the history behind The Sound of Music! Her presentation went into detail about the events that led up to The Von Trapp Family fleeing Austria and spoke about the differences of Fact and Fiction in regard to the movie!

Breaking news!

We are partnering with Cloverleaf School District beginning in 2027! This partnership will allow us to bring even more opportunities to the entire community including a summer 2027 production on their gorgeous mainstage! YES, the entire county and beyond can audition for our productions! YES, we will still offer Sensory Friendly performances! We know there will be many questions about this partnership, please stay tuned as we roll out more information in the months to come.

We owe an immense amount of gratitude to the Cloverleaf superintendent Dr. Daryl Kubilus, music teacher Angela Leonard, auditorium manager Adam Michel, and others, who enthusiastically embraced the proposal pioneered and written by Buckeye Community Theatre Executive Director Kimberly States. We are proud to have received a 2027 ArtSTART grant from the Ohio Arts Council towards our production of The Sound of Music: Youth Edition! Congratulations to all grant recipients!

Arts organizations in Medina County were recent recipients of Ohio Arts Council funding, which will be used to further support the arts on a local level.
