About us

DAV membership is open to any man or woman who served in the Armed Forces during a period of war or under conditions simulating war and was wounded and disabled to any degree as a result of military service and was discharged from military service under honorable conditions. With more than 1.2 million members, the DAV is focused on building better lives for our disabled veterans and their families.

In Medina County our DAV chapter supports many annual events to include the Greater Cleveland Fisher House project, Medina County Fair Veterans’ gathering, and “Tank the Truck”, during the Christmas season.

Our DAV Auxiliary is made up of members not wartime –disabled which includes their family members, donates clothes to the needy and provides flag etiquette brochures to our local elementary schools.
