Good conversations can happen just about anywhere... over coffee, over a fun drink, around a table, or right here at the Chamber! 😊 Here’s what was happening around the Greater Medina Chamber of Commerce this week.

🎉 New Member

We’re excited to welcome Liberty Mutual Insurance to the Chamber! Marie is also a new Medina resident, so we’re especially happy to welcome her to both the Chamber AND the community. We’re looking forward to getting to know her better and helping her make connections!

☕ Stephanie met with another prospective member at... you guessed it... The Grind Coffee Bar ! At this point, a good cup of coffee and a Chamber conversation just seem to go hand in hand. 😄

🍹 We spent a great afternoon with our friends at Pickleback’s for Business Brew! There was plenty of conversation, lots of laughs, and some fun drinks mixed in. Thanks to everyone who joined us!

💬 We hosted our monthly Chamber Chat at the Chamber office. This group is always a lively one, with great conversation, plenty of sharing, and more than a few laughs thrown in. It’s one of those mornings that reminds us how much fun networking can be!

🥐 Our Chamber space was also put to good use this week when one of our members hosted a Breakfast & Learn. We love seeing members take advantage of the opportunity to rent our meeting rooms for their own meetings, workshops, and gatherings!

⛳ Jaclyn attended the Medina County Convention & Visitors Bureau Board Meeting at Bunker Hill Golf Course, connecting with fellow community partners and staying involved in the conversations happening throughout Medina County.

From coffee conversations to happy hour connections, sometimes the best part of the week is simply getting people together. ❤️

New members, meaningful conversations, a little networking courage... and a BLIMP! 😄 Here's what was happening around the Greater Medina Chamber of Commerce this week.

🎉 New Members
• Comfort Keepers – It was great seeing Mark when he stopped by the Chamber to make everything official! We're excited to have Tiffany and Mark as part of our Chamber community and look forward to onboarding Tiffany soon.

• Medina City Schools Foundation – We're thrilled to welcome Melissa, Vickie, Doug, Mike, and the Foundation to the Chamber! We look forward to sitting down with the Board, learning more, and helping them get connected with our Chamber community.

• First National Bank – We're excited to welcome Heather and Christopher to the Chamber and look forward to getting to know them and their team!

☕ We also met with a prospective member at one of our favorite spots for a Chamber conversation, The Grind Coffee Bar . You never know where one coffee and one conversation might lead!

🎈 We had an unexpected visitor in the skies above the Chamber this week... the Goodyear Blimp! Of course, we immediately ran outside to snap a photo. Some things simply require dropping what you're doing and heading outside. 😄

🍽️ This month's Lunch Bunch took us to Castle Noel's Hideaway Tavern & Patio, where we enjoyed delightful conversation, great company, and another opportunity to support a local business.

⚡ We hosted our monthly Medina County Safety Council meeting with a focus on electrical safety. We also held our annual food drive and appreciate everyone who contributed. A special thank you to Pual and David from The Brewer-Garrett Company for sponsoring this month's meeting!

💬 At Networking WOW, we tackled "The Ask" and why asking for help, advice, introductions, or connections can sometimes be harder than it should be. We talked about what makes a good ask, what makes us want to help someone, and how being willing to ask can open the door to new ideas, resources, and connections. Sometimes you just have to ask!

🏛️ We hosted our monthly Business Advocacy Committee meeting and appreciated State Representative Marilyn John joining us for the conversation. Thank you for taking the time to connect with our business community and share your perspective.

Another week of welcoming new members, asking better questions, strengthening relationships, and apparently keeping an eye on the sky. 😉🎈

Four new members, new connections, and even a little dreaming about Italy! 🇮🇹

Here's what was happening around the Greater Medina Chamber of Commerce this week.

🎉 New Members
We're excited to welcome FOUR new businesses to our Chamber community this week!

• Midwest Integration & Automation – We're looking forward to getting to know the team and helping them get connected!

• Eagle E-Waste Solutions
• Astro Computers
• DataKloud

We're especially excited to officially welcome Eagle E-Waste Solutions, Astro Computers, and DataKloud after previous Chamber introduction conversations with Ron. It's always rewarding to see those conversations turn into new Chamber memberships!

☕ We officially onboarded Jeff from North 41° over coffee at one of our favorite spots, The Grind Coffee Bar . These one-on-one conversations give us a chance to learn more about our new members, talk through their goals, and help them find the Chamber opportunities and connections that make the most sense for them.

🤝 We also met with two prospective members this week—one virtually and one at Panera Bread Medina. A little shoutout to Panera for being another great spot for a Chamber coffee chat and conversation!

🦺 We participated in our quarterly Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation call for the Medina County Safety Council, staying connected on updates and resources that help us continue providing valuable programming for participating employers.

📋 Our Chamber Board of Directors gathered for its monthly meeting, keeping the conversations going around Chamber priorities, programs, and what's ahead.

Who on your team is ready to grow?

The Compass Program, created by the Greater Medina Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Heart to Heart Leadership, helps professionals strengthen their self-awareness, communication skills, leadership presence and community connections.

Through five interactive sessions, participants learn alongside other Medina County professionals and develop practical tools they can use in their work and community.

“Compass challenged me to grow as a leader, build meaningful connections with other professionals, and gain new perspectives that I can apply in both my work and community.”
