Food waste doesn’t just disappear when it hits the trash. It takes up landfill space, wastes the resources used to grow and transport it, and creates harmful gases as it breaks down.

The good news? Small changes actually matter.

✔️ Plan meals intentionally
✔️ Store food properly
✔️ Use leftovers creatively
✔️ Use food rescue apps
✔️ Compost food scraps whenever possible
✔️ Support local food rescue and community composting efforts

Not all food waste can be avoided, but we can rethink where it ends up. Composting turns scraps into something useful!

It’s easy to feel defeated when you think about the state of our planet and ever changing policies.

But hope isn’t about pretending everything’s fine.
It’s about deciding it’s still worth caring.

We protect the Earth because it’s our home,
and because the future we want doesn’t happen by accident.

It happens in the small choices we make every day (and staying aware and active in legislation, when we can)
Keep going. It matters more than it feels like.
