Scouts were busy!! This is not just camp but an experience. Troop 511 won First in the Gateway entry scouts built a bridge. Second in volley ball tournament.
A successful summer camp at a new site with the most scouts in recent years. Two leaders who are now trained to be able to give BSA swim tests, which makes it easier for next year!!

Great job remembering all of those who died fighting for our freedom.

Kelly’s Island camp out!! Scouts biked the whole Island, hiked some trails, enjoyed camp fire time, and boat crossing.

Everyone had lots of “roses”. They loved the biking and chance to explore!

Laughable moments was ice cream stand vs shopping center. “I paid half for a 1/2 gallon of ice cream vs your two scoops.” Some kids are still learning quality over quantity. lol

Hinkley Buzzard Day!!! Educated the public on tick’s.

Quote of the weekend “Mr. Holub I think I used the wrong side of the pepper shaker. It should be fine.” Yep he did. Our chili was the most spicy chili we have made. Strong pepper flavor!!!
