A dedicated leader, decorated veteran, longtime servant to our country and resident of Delaware County, Brigadier General McGovern has devoted more than 30 years to military service, including deployments during Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Spartan Shield. His leadership and commitment to honoring those who served make him a fitting choice to lead this year’s parade.
