✨ Alumni Spotlight ✨ Dr. Bere Waller D.Ac, L.Ac

🌿 Meet Bere, a graduate of the Won Institute’s Master’s in Acupuncture, Doctorate of Acupuncture, and Herbal Certificate programs, and a dedicated practitioner currently serving her community in Rockville, Maryland.

📍She owns and operates her own clinic, where she focuses on orthopedic acupuncture, pain management, and women’s health, with a special emphasis on fertility support for patients undergoing IVF and IUI.

🔍Her clinical approach blends orthopedic assessment, nervous system regulation, and patient education—helping individuals better understand their bodies while supporting recovery and overall wellbeing.

💛 Her advice to current students:
“Stay curious. Ask questions. Take advantage of the resources and guidance your professors and mentors offer. And most of all, have fun while you learn.”

✨ Alumni Spotlight ✨ Rev. Doyeon Park

🌿 Meet Rev. Doyeon Park, a graduate of the Won Institute’s Won Buddhist Studies program, who has dedicated her life to sharing the Dharma and building compassionate spiritual communities.

📍 Rev. Park serves as a minister at the Manhattan Won Buddhist Temple and is the Buddhist chaplain at both Columbia University and New York University, where she offers meditation, guidance, and spiritual support to students and faculty.

🔍 In addition to her work on campus and in the temple community, Rev. Park represents Won Buddhism at the United Nations, participating in interfaith dialogue and collaboration to address global issues such as peace, justice, and environmental responsibility.

🧘 Her teaching emphasizes bringing Buddhist practice into everyday life. Rev. Park often encourages practitioners to cultivate compassion and awareness in ordinary moments, reminding us that practice continues far beyond the meditation cushion.

💛 A guiding principle of her life and practice is simple yet profound: a life of gratitude.

🌿 Meet Jacklyn, a graduate of the Won Institute’s Master’s, Doctorate, and Chinese Herbal Medicine programs, who continues to stay deeply connected to the Won community through teaching, mentorship, and service.

📍 Now practicing in Media, PA, Jacklyn is the owner of Calm Waters Acupuncture, where she guides patients back to their own innate healing rhythms and supports them in rediscovering that their bodies already have all the tools needed to heal naturally.

🌀 Jacklyn’s clinical approach centers on whole-person care, helping individuals move toward balance, authenticity, and a deeper connection with their bodies—serving as a steady guide on each patient’s unique healing journey.
