We had a fun and creative time with polymer clay on Tuesday! One of our favorite teachers, Jenny Davies-Reazor, helped us to make these pretty pendants and earrings with polymer clay, metallic leaf, and paint. We even had time to make some beads!

Y'all, I am CRYING!!! (For real!) Growing up I remember every Christmas my grandmother putting up a jewelry tree she made in the 70s. It contained personal and sentimental pieces that I always loved "finding" and I always thought it was one of the most beautiful things I'd ever seen. How did they contain a severely hyperactive child? Turn the lights on the tree on and I was mesmerized & transfixed for what seems like hours.
My grandmother passed away in 2012. My dad passed away in 2019.
Today I got a rather large package from my last surviving uncle. It's THE tree!! I am just as in love with and mesmerized by it as ever! (I need to reglue a few beads, but otherwise it's in fantastic condition!) I just needed to share!! ❤

What a fun evening! On Tuesday, our beading group hosted BEAT IT BEADS, a wonderful organization that donates beaded bracelets to Fox Chase Center, Abington Hospital, and the American Cancer Society for those undergoing cancer therapy. We made dozens of beautiful beaded bracelets that will now be embellished with a Beat It charm. While usually a chatty group, we were too busy concentrating on our creations. 😆
