Earlier today Tower 46 was dispatched to assist Upper Chichester Fire Co. with a working building fire. While enroute the fire was upgraded to 2 alarms. Tower 46 arrived 3rd due truck and assisted with exposure control and overhaul. Crews remained on scene for 2 hours before being released.

Two nights ago, Tower 46 was dispatched to assist Aston Township Fire Department on a commercial building fire. Crews were wrapping up when the township was dispatched for the block of Van Leer Ave for a building fire. Tower 46 arrived first due truck and went in service with primary searches. Crews found fire in the rear of the house extending to the kitchen and dining room. Engine 50 made a quick knock on the fire. Crews went in service with extensive overhaul. Companies remained on scene for 2 hours before clearing.

Over the holiday weekend our FF1 course completed their final burn West Chester Fire Department Training Center. This training completes the students modular training and combined with the mod 4 test, allows them to pass FF1 course. The students have another few days for Proboard testing for national certification. This course is only the start for these students firefighting careers. We look forward to seeing all come back for more courses.

Last night around 11pm the Township companies were dispatched to the 600 block of Mount Alverno Rd for a vehicle accident. Companies arrived to find one vehicle into the building. Crews from Squad 46 and Rescue 50 secured the vehicle and starting shoring the structure to assist with structural stability. Crews remained on scene for 3 hours before clearing.

Squad 46 (Middletown Twp Duty Engine) responded to Brookhaven for a vehicle fire. Squad 46 arrived with one vehicle fully involved. Crews went in service and quickly knocked the fire. Crews remained on scene for 30 minutes before clearing.

This morning Squad 46 along with Rescue 50 and 52 responded to E Dutton Mill Rd for an accident with entrapment. Chief 52 arrived with 2 people trapped off the roadway. Crews from 46, 50 and 52 went to work extricating the patients. Crews remained on scene for over hour before clearing.

Yesterday Squad and UTV 46 responded to a large brush fire in Concord Township. Crews arrived and went to work with cutting line, extinguishing fire and cutting down trees. Companies remained on scene for 4 hours before being released by 59 command.
