❤️ SMITTY IS STILL WAITING… AND WE CAN’T FIGURE OUT WHY. ❤️

Seriously, friends… HOW has this amazing boy had NO interest?

Meet Smitty — a 70-pound, handsome, goofy, affectionate “land hippo” who is currently stuck in boarding while he waits for someone to finally realize what a GREAT DOG he is. 💔

Smitty has already been through more than any dog should have to endure. He was abandoned at a hospital, skinny and weak, and was later diagnosed with a severe bowel obstruction. He needed emergency surgery, and incredibly, they discovered he had eaten an entire dishtowel — likely out of desperation.

Thanks to an amazing medical team and his wonderful fosters, Smitty made a full recovery. Today, he is healthy, happy, and ready for the next chapter of his life. ❤️🐾

And THIS is what we want people to know about Smitty:

💙 He is AFFECTIONATE and loves his people.
🐶 He is DOG FRIENDLY and would love a furry friend.
👦 He is KID FRIENDLY — older kids (12+) are recommended because this big guy can get pretty enthusiastic!
🏡 He is HOUSE TRAINED AND CRATE TRAINED.
🧠 He is SMART, FOOD-MOTIVATED, and TRAINABLE and has already learned commands and good manners.
🚗 He LOVES car rides, walks, playtime, and pretty much anything that involves being with his people.
😴 He is also perfectly happy to spend part of the day snoozing — preferably somewhere soft and comfortable. 😂
❤️ And according to the people who know him best, this boy doesn’t have a mean bone in his body.

Smitty is the kind of dog who will follow you around the house like your 70-pound shadow. He wants to be where you are. He wants to be part of your life. And in return for some companionship, a soft bed, continued training, and a little patience, he will give you all the love he has.

He does need a family willing to continue working with him on his excitement and leash reactivity, and he needs a home without cats. A home with a yard and another dog would be wonderful, but with the right family, Smitty could settle into many different types of homes. 🏡

So here’s our plea:

PLEASE don’t let Smitty be the dog everyone scrolls past.

He has already spent enough time waiting.

He survived being abandoned.
He survived a major medical emergency.
He fought his way back to health.
He learned. He healed. He became the goofy, loving, happy dog he is today.

Now he just needs someone to choose him. ❤️

SWEETEST GIRL LOTTIE IS STILL SEARCHING FOR HER FOREVER HOME Media PA area

She was the last dog left when a shelter closed for renovations 😭😭😭 We had to rescue her.
Please share for this gentle quiet girl!

Lottie is a very sweet and loving female Australian Cattle dog, Lottie is 44 lbs, up to date on vaccines, spayed and on heartworm preventative.

Lottie is crate trained, her crate is her safe place, she is no longer put in her crate I just put her in the bedroom when I leave the house with her crate door open, she doesn't bother anything. Lottie has full run of the house when I'm home which is most of the day. Lottie is housebroken she uses the doggy door to go out and do her business (doggy door access only when someone is home). Lottie loves people and is the first to greet them along our walks, Lottie's bio from the shelter said she didn't walk on a leash but she is now doing fine, still a little unsure of herself but is no longer trying to crawl under objects, she just needed to feel safe and comfortable with her person. Lottie is a good dog but feel she would do best in a quiet home with no kids.

Lottie does need time to warm up to new dogs, she is in a house with 4 other dogs, and it took a couple days for her to feel safe; she now plays with her foster brother and sister (other two are seniors).

Lottie is very smart; she is a couch potato and loves to cuddle; she likes to chase a ball but hasn't learned to bring it back, she likes toys and nyla bones and is very treat motivated.

Lottie will need a 6 ft fenced in yard as she's still scared and that makes her a flight risk, she does like to use the bathroom in private so she may not go on a leash, so the yard helps her feel comfortable.

🐾✨ STOP SCROLLING. WE FOUND THE PERFECT DOG. ✨🐾

You know that person who says, "I'm waiting for the perfect dog"?

Well... Stanley heard you. ❤️

At almost 2 years old, Stanley is the total package and ready to find his forever family!

✅ Neutered
✅ Up-to-date on all vetting
✅ Housebroken (because we know that's everyone's first question 😆)
✅ Great with people
✅ Great with other dogs
✅ Cat tested AND cat approved

Honestly, even the cats like him. And cats don't hand out compliments easily.

Stanley is obedience trained, crate trained, and walks beautifully on a leash. He's the kind of dog who is happy joining you on adventures, hiking trails, road trips, and neighborhood walks, but he's just as content hanging out at home with his people.

With his medium energy level and wonderful manners, Stanley is simply a pleasure to live with. No exaggeration, he's the dog we wish we could clone.

Meet Liberty the Puppy! - Located in Media Pennsylvania

Meet our beautiful little hound mix pup Liberty! She and her siblings were being given away for free on a side road in SC when we rescued them.

Liberty is 13 weeks old as of 8/21 and we have been told possible Hound & Aussie mix ? She is a bundle of fun and cuddly sweetness.

Liberty is very smart. Her foster dad Rudy trained her with the clicker and she comes flying over knowing shes gonna get a treat. Shes the bossy one in play between her and her brother Ranger. Eats well drinks well and p*eing and pooping outside after food and drinking and waking up. Also uses the p*e pads.

Liberty is a loving, affectionate and confident little girl who loves playing with other dogs and can sometimes be the bossy one.
We have been told the mom was an Aussie and the dad was a Hound. We cannot 100% verify this but regardless she sure is darn cute, sweet and healthy!

We estimate that she will weigh around 45 to 60 lbs when fully grown. We will have more photos and individual personality traits to post shortly.

Jackson is a male purebred bichon, eight years old, 10 pounds in good health and good with kids and dogs. He has been kept in a kennel his entire life 😞

Poor Jackson has spent his life as a breeder dog in Lancaster.

Meet Snoopy!

Snoopy is a lovable 4-year-old Border Collie mix with a big personality and plenty of energy. He absolutely loves going on walks and runs, making him a wonderful companion for an active family.

Snoopy is house-trained and does well roaming freely around the home. While he isnt a fan of being crated, he is comfortable being crated when someone is nearby. He is friendly with other dogs and enjoys being part of the family. He can become a little jealous when attention is given to cats in the household, so a home without cats—or one experienced with managing multiple pets—may be the best fit.

Snoopy isnt much of a barker, but he will let you know when he feels his home needs protecting. He loves belly rubs, affection, and spending time with his people. He already knows several commands, including sit, leave it, paw, and wait, and hes eager to show off what he knows!

Overall, Snoopy is a loving, intelligent, playful, and loyal dog who has so much to offer. He would thrive in a home where he can get plenty of exercise, attention, and affection. If youre looking for an energetic best friend who will keep you active and reward you with endless love, Snoopy may be the perfect match!
