is a nonprofit, human service agency that provides comprehensive support services to adults with Intellectual Disabilities and their families. The agency was founded in 1970 by parents who wanted supports for their children, and other adults who had similar needs, in their community. Walnut Street Center now provides services to people who live in the communities of Medford, Somerville, Cambridge and Arlington, Massachusetts.

🎨 We're excited to share that Walnut Street Center is an official host site for Medford Open Studios 2026!

Join us this Saturday, June 20th from 12–6 PM to explore artwork created by the talented artists in our programs, including beautiful collaborative group pieces that showcase the creativity and community within WSC.

Stop by our studio, meet our artists, and celebrate what meaningful living looks like in action. We'll also have an informational table where you can learn more about our programs and the incredible individuals we serve.
