❤️🐾 WOW. JUST WOW. SOUTHERN OREGON, YOU HAVE LEFT ME SPEECHLESS! 🐾❤️

TODAY IS THE FINAL DAY OF JAMMIES FROM JARED 2026!

And I honestly don't even know where to begin.

My heart is so incredibly FULL. 🥹❤️

When we kicked off this year's pajama drive on October 1st, we set what I thought was a pretty ambitious goal:

250 PAIRS OF PAJAMAS.

Last year, our very first Jammies From Jared drive collected 115 pairs, so reaching 250 would have been an incredible accomplishment!

But this community had other plans. ❤️

Businesses stepped up. Employees rallied together. Families went shopping. Friends shared our mission. Community organizations, schools, and individuals opened their hearts and found ways to help.

And every time I thought I couldn't possibly be more overwhelmed by your generosity, someone else showed up with another donation, another collection, or another offer to help.

WE ARE ALREADY AT APPROXIMATELY 700 PAIRS RECEIVED OR COMMITTED, AND WE AREN'T EVEN FINISHED COLLECTING EVERYTHING YET!!! 🎉🎉🎉

That's nearly THREE TIMES our original goal!

And we still have collection locations to pick up, shipments coming from participating offices, and a whole lot of counting and sorting ahead of us!

So we don't have a final number to announce just yet.

But I can tell you this:

YOU HAVE MADE THIS MAMA'S HEART SO INCREDIBLY PROUD AND GRATEFUL. ❤️

To see how this community has embraced Jared's memory and helped this little mission grow is something I will never, ever forget.

And while we still have so much to do to wrap up 2026, we're already beginning to dream about JAMMIES FROM JARED 2027!

We're exploring ways to bring Jammies From Jared to other communities, where local partners can collect pajamas and distribute them to carefully selected organizations right in their own areas.

There is no contribution too small, and no single way to make a difference.

❤️🐾 OUR FINAL DAYS — AND A SPECIAL REQUEST FROM JAMMIES FROM JARED! ❤️🐾

Our community has already shown us just how much love can be wrapped up in a simple pair of pajamas. And as we enter the final days of our 2026 drive, we're reaching out with one more special request!

We've heard from one of our recipient organizations, Hearts With A Mission, about the pajama needs of young people in their Independent Living Program.

Their request includes 80 pairs of pajamas in a variety of adult sizes, and we would love to help provide as many as possible! We are also working to meet the needs of the other individuals and families our community partners serve.

❤️ OUR BIGGEST NEED RIGHT NOW IS ADULT PAJAMAS, ESPECIALLY:

🩷 Women's Medium — 21 pairs requested
💙 Men's Medium — 18 pairs requested

We're also especially hoping for donations in adult Small, XL, and 3XL, along with other adult sizes.

We know we may not be able to fulfill every request, but we're going to give it our very best effort. Every single pair makes a difference!

❤️🐾 ONE FINAL WEEK. ONE INCREDIBLE COMMUNITY. SO MUCH LOVE. 🐾❤️

Can you believe it?! We are officially entering the FINAL WEEK of Jammies From Jared 2026!

Our pajama drive ends October 31, and my heart is already overflowing with gratitude. 🥹❤️

When we started this year's drive, our goal was to collect 250 pairs of brand-new pajamas for people in need.

And thanks to YOU, we have already surpassed that goal!

🎉 Our incredible New Horizons family reached its 200-pair matching challenge, unlocking another 200 pairs from the company!

🎉 Lithia's Nightmare on the Rogue event brought in an astonishing 139 pairs!

🎉 And our wonderful community partners have been collecting pajamas throughout Southern Oregon, with many donations still waiting to be counted!

And we're not done yet! ❤️

As we head into these final days, we're making one last heartfelt invitation to anyone who has been thinking about participating.

👻🎃❤️🐾 SOMETHING SPOOKTACULAR HAPPENED AT LITHIA!!! 🐾❤️🎃👻

YES, YOU READ THAT RIGHT!!!

Our incredible friends at Lithia turned their Nightmare on the Rogue haunted house event into an absolute MOUNTAIN of love for Jammies From Jared! ❤️

And when we finally finished counting and sorting everything...

🎉 ONE HUNDRED THIRTY-NINE PAIRS OF BRAND-NEW PAJAMAS! 🎉

Apparently, the scariest thing about that haunted house wasn't the monsters, the fog, or the things jumping out of the darkness...although I screamed plenty!

IT WAS THE SIZE OF THE PAJAMA PILE WAITING FOR US THE NEXT MORNING! 🤣👻

But all joking aside, I am absolutely overwhelmed by the generosity of everyone who participated.

To the amazing Lithia team who organized this event, collected donations, and made Jammies From Jared part of your celebration, THANK YOU!

And to every single person who brought a pair of pajamas, YOU helped make this happen!

As Jared's mom, there is something incredibly special about watching people come together to honor my boy. Jared would have absolutely LOVED that haunted house, and knowing that an event he would have enjoyed so much is now helping others in his memory makes my heart incredibly full.

As our pajama drive continues, we're hearing directly from our community distribution partners about the sizes their recipients need most.

And right now, WE NEED ADULT JAMMIES! ❤️

We have several specific requests, including three people who need size 3X pajamas, and we currently don't have any 3X pairs in our inventory.

Here's where we could really use your help:

❤️ 3X — MOST URGENT!

❤️ Medium — 7 pairs requested

❤️ XL — 7 pairs requested

❤️ Large — 6 pairs requested

❤️ Small — 5 pairs requested

Comfortable, relaxed-fit unisex pajamas would be wonderful, as long as the sizing is appropriate!

Of course, we're still gratefully accepting NEW pajamas in ALL sizes, from babies through adults. Every pair matters!

Because here's the thing...

It's not just about how many pairs we collect. It's about making sure every person receives something that actually fits, feels comfortable, and reminds them that somebody cares. ❤️

🎮❤️🐾 A Little More About Jared: The Boy Who Lived to Game 🐾❤️🎮

If there was one thing Jared absolutely LOVED from the time he was a little boy, it was video games.

And when I say loved, I mean this kid would have happily spent every waking moment gaming if I'd let him! 😂

It all started when he was about four years old and got his first little handheld Game Boy. He had a few games, including Spider-Man, and that little thing got played every chance he had.

But when Jared was six, I introduced him to a game that would become a huge part of his life: World of Warcraft.

Jared's very first character was a Night Elf Rogue named Voldis. 🎮

And let me tell you, that little boy was HOOKED.

Back then, we shared a computer, so Jared could only play when I wasn't using it. And he had to take turns with his brother and the other kids in the house.

Now, the other kids enjoyed playing the game.

Jared practically LIVED for it. 🤣

He would get so frustrated when somebody else's turn seemed to be taking forever. He'd be waiting, watching, practically counting the minutes until he could get back to his beloved Voldis.

I had to enforce time limits because, left to his own devices, I'm pretty sure that child would have moved permanently into Azeroth! 😂

Voldis remained one of Jared's characters for many years. Eventually, he branched out into other characters, and when I stopped playing World of Warcraft myself, he even took over my character and played it for quite a while.

I love thinking about that now. I was the one who introduced him to this incredible virtual world, and eventually he knew it far better than I ever did.

And it wasn't just a passing childhood phase.

Jared played World of Warcraft right through junior high and into high school. Eventually, his interests expanded into first-person shooters, racing games, and all sorts of other games.

But that passion never went away.

Even as an adult, I could hear him in his room, laughing, hollering, and having the absolute time of his life playing online with his friends.

Those sounds were just part of having Jared around.

And he wasn't just someone who enjoyed gaming. He was GOOD at it. Some of you may remember our earlier story about his world-record run in DiRT Rally 2.0. That same little boy who couldn't wait for his turn at the computer grew up to accomplish something pretty remarkable in a game he loved.

When I think about Jared and gaming, I don't just think about computers, consoles, or equipment.

I think about a four-year-old clutching his Game Boy.

A six-year-old impatiently waiting to play his Night Elf Rogue.

And a grown young man laughing so hard with his friends that I could hear him from another room.

Gaming was Jared's world. And for so many years, the sounds of that world filled our home. ❤️

Those are the little things I love remembering and sharing about my boy.

Because behind Jammies From Jared was a real person with passions, quirks, talents, and a whole lot of personality.

And now you know a little more about him. ❤️🐾

❤️🐾 MONDAY MORNING JAMMIE UPDATE! 🐾❤️

Oh my goodness, Southern Oregon… LOOK WHAT YOU'RE DOING! 🥹❤️

We're starting this week with 84 PAIRS OF BRAND-NEW PAJAMAS already collected at our Medford location! 🎉

Just this weekend and this morning, another 24 pairs came in thanks to the incredible generosity of friends and supporters!

And that's not even counting the pajamas still being collected at our other participating locations throughout Southern Oregon!

But hold on, because we've got a BIG week ahead! 🎉

🎃 Thursday, October 22: Lithia's Nightmare on the Rogue employee event is helping collect pajamas!

🏍️ Saturday, October 24: D&S Harley-Davidson is hosting PAJAMA DAY from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.! Wear your favorite jammies, enjoy the festivities, and help us spread some warmth!

❤️ Our friends at Southern Oregon Subaru, Cloud 9 Wellness, Garrisons, Subway, and New Horizons In-Home Care are also helping keep those donation boxes filling!

And here's something extra special…

New Horizons In-Home Care has pledged to MATCH our pajama donations, up to 100 pairs! That means our 84 confirmed pairs could become 168 pairs through their generosity! 🥹

Our goal this year is 250 pairs, and we're more determined than ever to get there!
