The Division of Student Diversity and Inclusion (DSDI) is excited to bring back a long-running Orientation program - Many Stories, One Community. Rising juniors and seniors who are involved with any of the DSDI Centers (Africana Center, Asian American Center, Center for STEM Diversity, FIRST Resource Center, Indigenous Center, Latinx Center, LGBT Center, Women’s Center) are eligible to apply.
Many Stories, One Community is a speaker event that allows first year students to hear directly from upperclassmen who are involved with DSDI centers. Selected candidates will return to campus during Orientation where they will share stories about how they have found community and a sense of self through DSDI Centers and other spaces on campus. Students will receive support from DSDI staff over the summer to help them craft their stories. Housing and meals will be provided by DSDI during this early campus arrival.
Please apply by May 6th at 11:59pm ET for priority consideration. Interviews will be conducted in late May/early June.
