LIMRRE currently has 2 enormous operating prototype Model Railroad layouts. The club's HO and N scale layouts occupy space of over 2000 square feet. ilroad Engineers is a Sustaining Member of the NMRA and while our layouts are in HO and N scales, we welcome Model Railroaders in all scales to join us. The club meets regularly every Tuesday night from 7:30pm to 10:00pm. Membership is open to anyone with an active interest in railroads and modeling. The level of experience ranges from armchair modelers, to novices, to experts. For most of us, the fun is in the learning. As a model railroad Club, our mission is to "Promote Model Railroading" by designing, constructing, operating and maintaining model train layouts. In addition, we always encourage others to become interested in this hobby which has so much to offer - carpentry, electrical work, painting and scenery design to name just a few. We want to learn from other model railroaders and we love to share what we ourselves have learned about model railroading. We are passionate about model railroading and we want others to learn why we feel that way. We believe that model railroading is a worthwhile endeavor and one that should be both shared and celebrated!
