SoF is committed to building school based clubs in each of the 5 communities that surround the Middlesex Fells Reservation including: Medford, Wi******er, Melrose, Stoneham, and Malden. The clubs will be open to all students in each high school, where they will be offered independent opportunities, organized through SoF staff and school-based volunteers if available. SoF clubs will take part in a
variety of nature based activities including: studies in natural history, recreation, and the exploration of outdoor skills. The 5 independent clubs will be connected through larger all school group activities which will offer full-day excursions, collaborative engagement with community partners, and an extended overnight experience. Our Core Concepts:
