♟️Pawns and Pints🍺

Hi, Jack here. In addition to the usual Saturday meetups I organize, I'm going to try showing up on Wednesday evenings at a bar in Medford with a few chess sets. It will be like our other meetups (all levels welcome, no registration needed) but just for grown-ups, and you'll need to make some sort of purchase from the business we're playing at.

The first Pawns and Pints meetup will be this Wednesday October 8 at Ms. Murphy's (25 Salem St). I'll be there at 7 pm. As usual, please check the website (www.medfordchessclub.com) for last-minute changes before heading out. Hope to see you drop by for a pint and a friendly game.

Seeking a Place to Put ~25 Chess Nerds

Hi everyone, Jack here. I organize a weekly meetup for the club that plays at the library on Saturdays 1-3 pm. The library is having a large book sale on April 5, so I have to find an alternate venue for us to play in. Colleen's Ice Cream Shop and Arts Collaborative Medford have kindly hosted us in the past, but there are too many of us now to fit in the former and the latter is having a large event on April 5. Any suggestions on where we could play?
