🌸 HUGE THANK YOU to Flourish Anyway for an incredible impact through their Women’s Hygiene Drive! 🌸

So far, an amazing 1,477 feminine hygiene and care items have been collected to support women in our community, including:

🌷 1,444 pads
🌼 21 sets of undergarments
🌺 12 hair & oral hygiene items

These essential items help restore dignity, confidence, and care for women facing hardship right here in our community.

🌻 June 1st is the FINAL day to give!
There’s still time to help make a difference by donating feminine hygiene products and personal care items.

Together, we can ensure women and girls have access to the essentials they deserve. 💐

The finale of the 2026 Love Beyond – Give with Joy Gala was nothing short of powerful. ❤️🙌

As the impact numbers were shared, the room was reminded of what happens when a community comes together in love, compassion, and action through The Salvation Army.

✨ Over 14,200 people received help in the past year alone.
✨ 4,617 youth were supported and encouraged.
✨ 12,115 safe nights of shelter were provided to individuals and families.
✨ 359,368 pounds of food were distributed.

Lives were changed.
People found stability and sobriety.
Faith was restored.
People moved from the streets into homes.
Hope was renewed.

This is the impact of a community choosing to love beyond itself. Right here in Jackson County. ❤️

AND THEN… the night ended with the most fun and unforgettable Thrift Store Fashion Show! 🤠✨

Woooo!! Yeehaw!! They really showed UP and SHOWED OUT! From creative outfits to big personalities on the runway, it was the perfect joyful ending to an incredible evening.

Today, David Gann was formally recognized at the Jackson County Board of Commissioners meeting as a recipient of the Jackson County Community Service Award! 🎉

David is a devoted volunteer, Senior Soldier, U.S. Veteran, and faithful member of our Salvation Army family whose servant heart has made an incredible impact throughout our community. From volunteering in our food pantry, thrift store, and donation center to faithfully serving as a bell ringer year after year, David continually shows up with compassion, humility, and dedication.

His bell ringing impact alone has been astounding—raising over $5,200 during the 2025 kettle season in 209 volunteer hours to help support neighbors in need across Jackson County. ❤️

If something needs to be done, chances are David is already there—smiling, ready, and serving.
