Perched on the Tanaro River south of Turin in Northwest Italy off the beaten tourist path . . . Similar to Medford in its climate, size and geography. The Sister City link between Medford and Alba, Italy, has always been special. From its beginning in 1960 the program has emphasized genuine friendship between people. For fifty years the two cities have reduced the thousands of miles between them t

o an insignificant distance as the lives of the people of Medford and Alba have become intertwined in deep and enduring friendships.
