Three of the 46 Girl Scouts honored as members of GSEMA's Gold Award Class of 2026 are from Medford! Claire’s project, "Invasion Intervention: Tackling Invasives in Medford," Jossira’s project, "We Like School Too: Increasing Academic Rigor for Vocational Students" at Medford High, and Bethiah’s project, "Drowning Prevention in the Mystic Lakes," each addressed important needs in our community. Congratulations to these incredible scouts, and thank you for making Medford a better place. They received their Gold Award pins at a ceremony on May 17 at Camp Cedar Hill. Troop 83400 wrapped an incredible cookie season with 3,216 packages sold 🎉 That's an impressive average of 643 packages per Scout!

Their success came from showing up strong across the community, especially at MBTA locations. They sold 2,125 packages at cookie booths, 1,240 of which were at T-stations.

And a special shout-out to the troop's booth warriors, Olivia and Tabitha, who each sold over 1,000 packages. 🌟 What an outstanding achievement!

We are so proud of their teamwork, determination, and leadership. 💚

Another cookie sale is officially in the books, and Medford Girl Scouts crumbled the competition. Scouts sold cookies to families and friends, at booths, online, and door to door, and the results were sweet. All that hustle added up to an impressive 27,614 packages sold.

Congrats to Troop 64381 for being this year's top selling troop and to Christine D. for being this year's top selling Scout!
