Soroptimist International Rogue Valley Sunrise The Rogue Valley Sunrise chapter of Soroptimist International meets weekly in Medford, Oregon. We are one of 6 Soroptimist clubs in the Rogue Valley.

Soroptimist is a service organization promoting opportunities for women and girls through fundraising, education and community support. Soroptimist's work to improve the lives of women and girls is done at the local club level. Soroptimist International of the Americas has more than 1,400 clubs in 19 countries and territories. We assess the needs of our community and undertake projects that will b

est fill those needs. We also receive assistance by participating locally in programs developed and sponsored by the Soroptimist organization.

✨ A Heartfelt Thank You! ✨

Our annual 𝐒𝐨𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐞 was a wonderful success thanks to the generosity and support of our community!

This year, 𝟓𝟔 𝐰𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 came to “shop” for free clothing, made possible by the many donations we received and the partners who helped us make it happen. 💙

We are especially grateful to these organizations:
• 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐂𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐡 – for generously donating the space for our event.
• 𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 – for donating clothing racks and picking up remaining clothing at the end of the day.
• 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐭 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐲 – for providing shopping bags and construction kits for the kids.

A big thank you also goes to the community organizations and individuals who provided vouchers so women in need could attend:
Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS), Community Justice, Salvation Army, Employment Office, Siskiyou Family Nurse, Maslow Project, Columbia Care Services, GP Worksource Rogue Valley, Community Works, Recovery Resources, The Pathfinder Network, Family Coach – Linda W., Center for NonProfit Legal Services (CNPLS), Rogue Rehab, and the YMCA.

And of course, thank you to everyone who donated clothing and accessories to make this event possible. Your generosity helps women in our community feel confident, supported, and cared for.
