🎸🎶 FMFN Porchfest Block Party & Kids' Karaoke 🎤✨

The FMFN Spirit Week: Celebrating Our Community. fun continues into the weekend! Join us tomorrow (Saturday, June 6th) for the Friends of the MFN Porchfest Block Party on Brookings Street (between Chester and Greenleaf Ave, centered around 82 Brookings)

Instead of just one stage, the music will be spread out across different porches right on the block! It’s going to be a fun, relaxed afternoon of community for the whole family. Along with great local cover bands rocking the porches, we have some fantastic entertainment lined up:

🏴‍☠️🧜‍♀️ Pirates & Mermaids Storytelling!
A wonderful storytelling troupe will be joining us to bring some magical tales to life for the kids.

🎤 Kids' Karaoke!
A chance for the little ones to take the mic, sing their favorite songs, and perform with friends.

Seeing Miss Marie’s smiles all week has been the absolute best part of Spirit Week, and we'd love to keep that community energy going. Drop by, stroll the block, and enjoy the music and entertainment with your neighbors!

What a beautiful opening day at the Medford Farmers Market! Thank you to everyone who stopped by, said hello, and brought such amazing energy to kick off the season. We loved seeing our village out in the sunshine!

AFTERNOON STORYTIME & CB SCOOPS TREATS! Missed our morning session? Don’t worry! Bring the little bookworms by for our afternoon Moon & Back Storytime with Miss Marie today at 3:00 PM at (across from CB Scoops).

We’re making fun flower crafts, reading stories, and hosting a book drive where you can buy a book to donate straight to the MFN!

TONIGHT: LINE DANCING AT ! 🎸🍹

Get ready to lace up your boots and hit the dance floor for Line Dancing Night at Great American Beer Hall from 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM! Professional lessons are included, so beginners are absolutely welcome to grab a drink with friends and learn the steps.

This is shaping up to be the ultimate MFN night out because word on the street is that most of the MFN staff—Irina, Andrea, Miss Marie, Bernadette, Cindy, and Heather—will be trading in circle time for line dancing! The whole crew is heading to GABH to celebrate and dance the night away with our incredible community.

Come show off your MFN spirit, catch your favorite leaders on the dance floor, and be sure to swing by the Friends of the MFN table between songs to say hello to everyone. There is no RSVP required—just show up! See you on the dance floor! 🤠👇

Start your Wednesday morning with the kids at our Moon & Back Storytime with Miss Marie! We are gathering at 10:30 AM at Moon and Back Bookstore in West Medford (right across the street from CB Scoops).

We’ll have a fun flower craft for the kiddos, and a special selection of books will be available if you'd like to purchase one to donate straight to the MFN library. Even better, our amazing friends across the street are donating 20% of all sales during our storytime windows right back to the MFN.

WE ARE LIVE AT THE GREAT AMERICAN BEER HALL! 🧸🍕

Tonight’s Spirit Week event with the amazing Lindsay Munroe is officially starting, and Miss Marie is already in her favorite PJs and ready for some cozy "Kindhearts" music!

We are turning the front patio into a giant community living room, so grab the kids, throw on your pajamas, grab your favorite stuffed friend, and head on down to join the village!

🎟️ ADDED BONUS TONIGHT: Anyone who purchases MFN merch or a yard sign at our table tonight will be automatically entered into a raffle to win a $50 gift card to the The Great American Beer Hall!

The Schedule:
• 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM: Social time, pizza, drinks, and MFN merch/sign pickups!

Tonight is the night! 🍕☀️ The sun is out, the weather is perfect, and dinner is officially taken care of.
