Hi folks, this is Don Walker, the Lord led me to start this group 40 years ago, and if you knew the whole story of what God has done with JCHE through the years you would thank and praise Him and I got to see it all. Anyway, Leslie and Lorraine and others currently take care of the day to day JCHE affairs and I have focused more on the Church and community in recent days. In 2019 I sponsored a Repentance Rally for the community and I believe by faith that the repenting of the believers at that rally caused some progress in God's Will for this valley. Currently, when i heard the current administration had dedicated May 17 to rededicate the USA to God, I thought we should do the same thing here in our valley. What made me think about that was when i was organizing the repentance rally i saw that Ashland, Ohio had proclaimed Jesus as King of their city and since that day I thought that is an awesome thng to do. So now the Lord has laid it heavily upon my heart and i am currently pursuing that ministry. In my years of hands on building and managing of the huge version of JCHE, the homeschool community has been the most Godly patriotic people that i have ever known. Therefore, i am reaching out to you, the current homeschool community to see if anyone out there wants to help me plan and execute this current dream, the homeschool community helped me on the last one and i suspect this will appeal to some of you out there. Your school’s juniors and seniors (who might have an interest in healthcare careers) are invited to attend a Healthcare Professions Demonstration Day at Rogue Community College, Table Rock Campus.
The healthcare programs that will be participating include Emergency Medical Services, Phlebotomy, Medical Assistant, Dental Assistant, Pharmacy Technician, Massage Therapy, and Nursing.
This is a great opportunity for your students to get hands on experience with RCC’s healthcare programs.
If you are planning to attend this event, please RSVP and let me know how many students you are estimating will attend from your school and which date you plan to attend.

It was a great pleasure to participate in the Education Options Symposium at the Jackson County Fairgrounds yesterday. While we are aware there are many options available to parents, we will ALWAYS be advocates for private independent home education. It is the option that offers parents the MOST freedoms.

Location: Community Bible Church Gym, 500 N. 10th St, Central Point. Please enter through the back parking lot.
Time: Monday and Thursday evenings: 6:30-8:00 pm Please see schedule below. Students may start classes until the 5th week of class. New students after that will have to wait till the next session. Coaches will adjust as necessary for beginners and advanced students. Class fee will be prorated. Open fencing is available after class session.
Ages: 9 years old - adult. Younger students must be able to follow class rules and instructions. The student also must be able to hold the weight of the epee.
Cost: $10 per class/$200 for 10 week/19 session class, $10 for experienced/open fencing, $10 for USAF annual membership, $20 rental of gear. Payment may be in full or three monthly payments. Logos Charter School EU’s may be used for payment.
Equipment: You may provide your own gear. Students must have their own gym shoes, t-shirt, sweatpants (no shorts). Boys are recommended to have protective cup. Purchasing your own fencing glove is highly recommended. Rental gear is limited at this time. We will make every effort to accommodate each student.
Open Fencing Open fencers must complete waiver form and have current USAF #.
Class Dates & Times:
Monday & Thursday 6:30-8:00 pm - gym opens at 6:15 pm for set up/gear up
September 19,22,26,29
October 3,6,10, no class on 13th due to church event,17,20,24, 27 - no class on 31st for Halloween
November 3,7,10,14,17,21, 28 - no class on Thanksgiving
December 1st - last day - remember to turn in rental gear!
