Guest speaker Dean Nancy Bauer will discuss how SMFA & Tufts are investing in the arts with a Gallery welcome from Milly Glimcher and Print conversation with Richard Solomon, President of Pace Gallery.

Enjoy a rare behind-the-scenes conversation on Welcome Back, a mini-retrospective by a number of artists whose editions were among Pace Prints first publications. Included in the exhibition are editions by Gene Davis, Robert Goodnough, Charles Hinman, Nicholas Krushenick, Sven Lukin, Kenzo Okada, Lucas Samaras, Ernest Trova, and Jack Youngemen.

Barnum Awards in NYC, “From Ballou to Broadway.” Distinguished playwright and director Robert O’Hara (A92) will serve as emcee as we honor star Jumbos of stage, screen, and television, in front of and behind the scenes: Judy Bowman (J92, Casting Director); David P. Gelles (A99, Executive Producer, CNN); Andrew Polk (A84, Actor); and Joshua Seftel (A90, Filmmaker and Producer).

The Armory Show is New York’s premier international art fair, showcasing over 200 galleries from around the world. For those new to collecting art or those excited to discover the latest developments in the global art world, your tour will include an overview of the go-to galleries. An experienced tour guide will provide tips on what to look for when investing in young contemporary artists and how to build a well-rounded, thoughtful collection.
