🚨 CLASSIFIED STAFF: OUR CONTRACT IS NOT BEING FOLLOWED 🚨

We negotiated and ratified a 6.25% wage increase—but when you check your new wage schedule, you’ll notice something alarming:

👉 It’s NOT actually 6.25%. It’s less.

How is that possible?

The District is applying the increase in a way that does not match our contract—and instead relies on “past practice” rather than what was agreed to at the table.

💡 Here’s the bottom line:

•The contract promises a 6.25% COLA

•Many of us are receiving less than that

•This affects EVERY classified bargaining unit member

This isn’t just a math issue—it’s about fairness, transparency, and accountability.

✊ We need to stand together to fix this.

Our strength comes from unity. When we’re organized, we win stronger contracts—and we hold the District accountable.

🎉 CONTRACT RATIFICATION UPDATE 🎉

Thank you, OSEA Medford Chapter 15 members!

Today, 62 members took the time to make their voices heard by participating in our contract ratification vote. We are excited to announce that the Tentative Agreement was approved by an overwhelming margin:

✅ 59 YES Votes
❌ 3 NO Votes

A huge thank you to everyone who voted, reminded coworkers to vote, carpooled together, attended the informational meeting, and helped spread the word. It was amazing to see so many members who are currently on summer break take time out of their vacations to participate in this important process.

We also want to thank those who turned simple voting reminders into conversations about union membership. As we face budget challenges and discussions about potential school closures, strong membership matters more than ever.

📣 More Members = More Voices = Too Loud to Ignore 📣

One final step remains: the agreement must still be approved by the School Board. The contract is scheduled to be presented at the School Board Meeting this Thursday at 6:00 PM at Oakdale Middle School.

We encourage members to attend and show our solidarity.
