Congratulations to Team B2R for crushing the 130th Boston Marathon!! Together they raised a total of $42,000!! We are so honored to have them represent us!

Hannah is B2R’s first recipient to run the Boston Marathon for us. She completed her first marathon after losing her leg just 14 months ago and her times were good enough to qualify her for Boston in 2027 as both a para athlete and adaptive!

Matt led our team in fundraising. This was his first marathon and he absolutely crushed it! He was motivated to run for our team since his cousin Ryan has received 3 running blades from us since the age of 9.

Amanda Woodley earned her coveted Six Star Medal after completing her 6th World Marathon Major! She connected with our organization after growing up knowing someone who wore a prosthesis and saw the extensive costs the family faced.

It’s that time of year again!! Our next golf tournament will be held on Friday, June 5 at Lochmere Country Club. This is a beautiful course with spectacular views. Reach out if you would like to have a foursome. All funds raised will go towards helping another amputee.

We are excited to announce our latest prosthetic donation to 8 year old, Jaeger!! Jaeger lost his right leg below the knee when he was 6 years old due to a tragic accident He is an energetic and awesome kid who just wants to live his life like others his age. With the assistance of A Step Ahead Prosthetics, we were able to get him running again with his cool new blade. We look forward to seeing everything Jaeger can accomplish in the future!!

We are thrilled to announce our latest prosthetic donation and member of our 2026 Boston Marathon Team, Hannah!! Earlier this year, Hannah was driving her son to school, and was hit by another car which resulted in the amputation of her left leg. Running is Hannah’s passion, so we gifted her a new blade so she can continue doing what she loves. We can’t wait to see her crush her first Boston Marathon!!

We are excited to announce our latest prosthetic donation to Jack Berry! We gifted him with his first running blade and he’s already a natural. Jack lost his leg to Osteosarcoma. We have been working with him for six years, previously donating two water legs. Jack is currently training for the 2026 Winter Games in Milan for nordic skiing and hopes to make his first Paralympic team. We are so grateful to be part of your journey, Jack!

Meet our next member of Team B2R, Amanda Woodley from NYC!! Boston will be her 6th star in the World Marathon Majors! Our organization resonated with her as her friend’s cousin was faced with the extensive costs associated with obtaining a prosthetic limb throughout her childhood and would have benefited greatly from a charity like ours. Meet the first member of our 2026 Boston Marathon team, Matt Leighton!! This will be his first marathon and we are so thrilled to have him on our team. His cousin, Ryan Feeney, is a three-time recipient of our organization. Ryan lost his leg to neurofibromatosis and has needed 3 different running blades as he continues to grow. He is now 15 years old and hopes to compete in the Para Games someday. Matt is very passionate about our cause as Ryan continues to inspire him each and every day. Welcome to Team B2R, Matt!!
