Please join us on May 5th at 7pm in the Blake Middle School Library for a presentation by Medfield High School senior Lily Beck who will be sharing her perspective on what it is like to be on an IEP.

Lily did her senior project on student advocacy and understanding disabilities, and will share her experience of being on an IEP since first grade. All are welcome to join us for this important conversation!

Our Anxiety presentation from January has been rescheduled! We have also expanded the panel to include two Medfield school psychologists. Please join us on April 7th at 7pm in the Blake Library to learn some tips on how to care for children with anxiety. All are welcome. We hope to see you there!

BE KIND
On Thursday at Dale Street School, a presenter named Jesse King from Understanding Our Differences spoke to the fifth graders about his experience living with Autism and ADHD. He shared how he was bullied in school for being different and how those experiences motivated him to teach others about understanding and acceptance. His main takeaway was simple but powerful: be kind — you never know what it’s like to be someone else.

Medfield SEPAC is teaming up with local mom and SEPAC member Michelle Intravaia for a fun Rock Your Socks World Down Syndrome Day cookie Fundraiser! Kits are $30 each, and all proceeds will support SEPAC initiatives, such as informational workshops for families. SEPAC also proudly awards $2,000 in scholarships to graduating seniors each year.
