MOBILE SCIENCE LAB SIGN-UPS!! NO Science or Tech background needed to help out. Please consider volunteering. The kids have a blast using this every year!! See details below from our SMORE newsletter:

Over the last several years, Mechanicsville Elementary has welcomed the Maryland Agricultural Education Foundation (MAEF) Mobile Science Lab to our campus! This interactive in-school field trip provides hands-on science lessons that explore the importance of agriculture while directly connecting to the Maryland Science content standards.

To help fund this fantastic program, we are recommending a My School Bucks donation of $6 per student. Please know that this donation is completely optional. Every student will participate in and benefit from this engaging educational experience regardless of whether a donation is made. Your contributions simply ensure we can continue offering this enjoyable program next year.

Volunteer slots have been divided into AM and PM. If you can and want to volunteer all day, please be sure to sign up in both time slots.

*Any funds collected beyond the cost of the program will be directed toward similar Science Technology Engineering & Math (STEM) lessons and materials at Mechanicsville Elementary School.

Come out and enjoy a Southern Maryland Blue Crabs game with friends, family, and the community. All proceeds from tickets purchased through the fundraiser link will go directly back to the Mechanicsville Elementary music department to help purchase future student performance equipment.
