We did it!! The Southern Maryland Boot Scooters participated in the Southern Maryland Walk to End Alzheimer’s this morning. We were recognized as the top team for fundraising for this event … again. This is our 10th year in a row for coming in first place. We have such an AWESOME team! This year we raised over $36,000 for the Alzheimer’s Association.

Top 5 individuals recognized at the Walk for fundraising were Boot Scooters!!Michael Dodson, Leslie Harvey, Vanessa Thomas and Linda Price. Great representation of the team.

We also had pictures on the Jumbotron of former team members lost to Alzheimer’s. In Memory of Rhoda Bowie and Julie Graham.
