We are a 501(c)(3) food pantry dedicated to feeding those in need while sharing the gospel MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of Pappy's Pantry Ministries, Inc.

is to feed those in need while sharing the gospel. VISION STATEMENT

We believe that access to nutritious food is a basic human right. We envision a community where every person has access to sufficient food and will do our part to make this vision a reality. ABOUT THE MINISTRY

Our grandchildren call us Mammy and Pappy. One of our granddaughters, who was 2 at the time “shopped” in our kitchen pantry, so when it came time to choose a name, “Pappy's Pantry” rolled off of our tongues and it fit. Pappy's Pantry Ministries, Inc. became a reality on September 17, 2018. The President of Pappy's Pantry, who is a giver by nature, lost his father, who was also a giver – far more of a giver than we really knew until after his death. In his memory, we continue to give. We are a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to feeding those who are less fortunate. Our focus is to operate the food pantry to the best of our ability and to provide nutrition to families who have found themselves in difficult times, while sharing the love of Christ. The number of people who go hungry in our communities is staggering. This is an area near to our hearts, along with mental illness and drug addiction. We hope it is God's will that Pappy's Pantry reach even further into the community and allow the ministry to touch the homeless community, mental illness, and drug addiction in the near future. We know we can't fix everyone and everything, but we hope to share the gospel of Christ while touching as many lives as possible...and maybe those lives will touch others. Pappy's Pantry relies solely on the donations of others, and as a 501c3 non-profit organization, donations are tax deductible. Please help us to feed those in need while sharing the gospel. Jesus fed a multitude with only two fish and five loaves of bread
– Matthew 14:13-21

We operate by appointment only.

We are running dangerously low on a few items but happy to accept donations of any unexpired foods.

There’s a dropbox in front of the Pantry for non-perishables. If you wish to donate meat, dairy, or anything that’s frozen or cold, just give us a call at 804-258-2058 and we will make arrangements to meet you. 💜💜

A ginormous heartfelt thank you to Bill Talley Ford and Richmond East Moose Lodge #1947 for hosting food drives on our behalf.

Thank you to each of the individuals who have answered our call by dropping off food to the Pantry and to those who have donated money.

We sound like a broken record, but the food is going out quicker than it’s coming in.

Food insecurities are affecting your Neighbor. The one you thought would never experience difficulties financially, in any way shape or form, is either struggling or feeling a little uncertain right now.

Please pray about what you can do to help those in need and please continue to host food drives, drop off food, or make monetary donations.

We have absolutely the BEST supporters imaginable and I truly hope each one of y’all knows how important you are to this mission. 💜💜

Pappy’s Pantry is honored to sponsor a hole in the Highland Spring High School’s Alumni Wall of Fame golf tournament. Pappy and his oldest brother (pictured) are both HSHS Alumni and enjoy this event each year.

As food insecurities increase by the day, food from the pantry is going out faster than it’s coming in.

Please help us help those in need.

God Bless.

Thank you so much Vera for your donation of this wagon.

It is a lot sturdier than the one we currently use and will make things easier.
