right here, folks!

National Friends of Libraries Week is Oct. 18-24! Friends of the Library groups are non-profit organizations that engage in activities that increase community awareness of libraries, provide volunteer and program support, raise funds to enhance library services of a branch, department or special service, and advocate for the financial support of the library.

Explore the 150 most frequently challenged books since OIF began tracking censorship data and join libraries and readers everywhere in uniting against book bans.

The overlap of Banned Books Week and ALA's 150th anniversary offers a timely opportunity to reflect on ALA’s longstanding role in defending intellectual freedom and protecting Americans’ right to read.

Our Children’s Section/Kids’ Corner will be closed on Thursday, Oct. 8 while the county upgrades the ceiling lights in this area.

Don’t worry, you can still find something great to read! We’ll have a selection of children’s books available in a special browsing area.

Need a specific book? Just ask us! If it is safe to enter the Children’s Section, a staff member will be happy to retrieve it for you.

Thank you for your understanding while these improvements are being made!
