Another successful train ride is in the books!!

Thank you to all who came out on Sunday to enjoy riding on a vintage train car and experiencing what it was like to ride the train back in the day. Parents, children, grandparents, couples and friends all enjoyed the ride.

A special shoutout to Ohio Rail Experience for providing the train and its staff for making it all run smoothly.

Also, thanks to the CCPA volunteers who helped with many tasks on and off the train! We could not do it without you.

Funds raised by the CCPA will go towards facade grants and restoration projects at The 1858 Meeting House.

As promised, we have randomly selected the following 3 winners for the May 3 Vintage Train Excursion 4 Table dining car giveaway:

VINTAGE TRAIN TRIP DINING CAR 4 SEATING TABLE GIVEAWAY

MAY 3, 2026 – URBANA, OH

The CCPA and Ohio Rail Experience, in appreciation to those who have supported us for many years, would like to give away three 4 seating table packages (one for each departure time – 10:00am, 12:30pm, and 3:00pm) at our upcoming vintage train trip on May 3, 2026, out of Urbana, OH.

To participate in the giveaway, please note in the comments below, why you would like to ride on a vintage train. We will automatically enter you into a random drawing for one of three 4 seating table packages. Each package will include 2 adult beverages, soda and snacks. Additional beverages available for purchase. A package value at $200. Those participating in the giveaway must be 21 years of age. The winners along with their guests must be 21 years of age.

Deadline to participate will be midnight, Tuesday, April 21. We will select 3 random winners on Wednesday, April 22 and announce the winners on this post, so be sure to check back!
