We were saddened to learn of the passing of Dr. Anthony J. Colistra, a former Cumberland Valley Superintendent and one of the founding members of the Eagle Foundation.

Long before the Eagle Foundation became what it is today, Dr. Colistra had a vision for what could be possible when a community came together to support its schools and students. His insight, determination and tenacity helped turn that vision into reality, laying the foundation for an organization that continues to create opportunities for Cumberland Valley students nearly three decades later.
We are incredibly grateful for the part he played in our story and for the lasting impact of his commitment to education and our community.

Thank you, Dr. Colistra, for believing in what could be, and for helping make it possible. Our heartfelt condolences are extended to his wife, Susan, and his family.

While we understand that people would LOVE to see Donkey Basketball (circa 1987) come back to Cumberland Valley, that is NOT the event that we will be hosting in December.
