🐾💙 Happy Veterinary Appreciation Day! 💙🐾

Today we want to give a huge thank you to the incredible team at Lambs Gap Animal Hospital for everything they do for our rescue animals.

From wellness exams and vaccines to emergency care and helping our foster babies get a healthy start, their compassion, dedication, and expertise make a world of difference. We are so grateful to have such a caring veterinary team by our side.

A special congratulations also goes out to our rescue founder’s daughter, Dr. Wilson, on graduating from veterinary school and beginning her career at Lambs Gap! 🎓🩺 What an amazing accomplishment, and we’re so proud to watch her follow her passion for helping animals.

Thank you to all our veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and support staff who work tirelessly behind the scenes to care for the animals we love. A special shout out to the Office Manager, Melissa, for all your hardwork and helping us get in the books with our babies. Your kindness, patience, and hard work never go unnoticed.

✨ Who is looking for a really smart, sweet, happy, and sociable dog?! ✨

Sophie is a 6-month-old Labrador Retriever/Border Collie mix (best guess) weighing about 42 lbs — and this girl is SO much fun! 🐾💕

She’s super smart and figures out every puzzle toy her foster mom gives her 😂 Sophie would be AMAZING at agility training because she is quick to learn AND can jump quite high for balls and frisbees! She is also obsessed with toys (never destroys them), and always ready to play 🎾🐶

Sophie is crate trained, house trained, rides great in the car, walks nicely on a leash, and is learning commands quickly because she loves to please her people ✨ She absolutely LOVES being with her humans! While she’s not really a snuggle-on-the-couch-all-day kind of girl, she DOES enjoy belly rubs and being part of all the fun 🐾

She’s wonderful meeting new people, happy to greet other dogs, and guaranteed to keep you smiling every single day! 💕
